OMAR'S BACK BITCHES

There were a lot of things to be excited about on Sunday's premiere of "Boardwalk Empire", but perhaps none more than the ever-so-quick cameo by Michael Kenneth Williams, better known as OMAR from THE WIRE.

Apparently, Omar, I mean Williams will be at least a semi-regular on the show. This is most likely widespread news that anyone who follows these things knew long ago, but schmucks like me only found out by seeing his spruced-up face for two seconds during Sunday night's airing, at which time I jumped out of my seat, pointed to the TV like a man possessed, and, while simultaneously trying to catch my breath, forced out "IT'S OMAR!"

When you get to experience moments of pure excitements like this, it's worth being a little less than informed.
